TowGrid Customer Terms
Last updated: September 6, 2026 (version 2026-09-06.1)
These Customer Terms apply to anyone who requests towing or roadside assistance through TowGrid. They apply together with the Marketplace Agreement and the Privacy Policy. TowGrid is a technology marketplace, not a towing company; the service you order is performed by an independent provider.
1. What You Are Buying
When you submit a request, you are contracting with an independent Provider for the physical service and paying through TowGrid's platform. TowGrid transmits your request, matches available Providers within the coverage radius, calculates the quote from the Provider's own rates plus platform and card processing fees and applicable tax, and records the transaction. TowGrid does not perform the tow or roadside service.
2. Your Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- The accuracy of all information you provide, including vehicle details
- Correct pickup location and destination information
- Confirming that you own the vehicle or are authorized by the owner to request service and authorize its movement
- Payment in full at the time of request
- Removing and safeguarding personal property in or on the vehicle
- The instructions you give the Provider and any resulting consequences
- Your own conduct and safety at the service location
3. Prepayment and No Cancellation
All service requests are prepaid. Once a truck is ordered and payment is confirmed, the sale is final — the job cannot be cancelled and the payment is non-refundable, except where a refund is required by applicable law or where no Provider can be matched to your request. Monthly memberships are separate and may be cancelled at any time.
4. No Guarantee
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, TowGrid does not guarantee Provider availability, response or arrival time, completion, final price, quality, safety, the condition of your vehicle, or any Provider's performance. Estimated arrival times and quotes are estimates.
5. Assumption of Risk and Release
Roadside environments are hazardous. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, you assume the ordinary risks of receiving roadside service and release TowGrid from claims arising out of the physical service performed by an independent Provider. This does not waive any claim that cannot lawfully be waived, and nothing here excludes or limits liability to the extent such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law.
6. Limitation of Liability
The limitation of liability, aggregate cap, indemnification, arbitration, class-action waiver, and governing-law provisions in the Marketplace Agreement apply to you and are incorporated here by reference, in each case only to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
7. Your Indemnity
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, you will indemnify and hold harmless TowGrid from claims arising out of your own conduct, misrepresentations, inaccurate information, lack of authority over the vehicle, instructions to a Provider, non-payment, or violation of law or these Terms. This does not extend to claims arising from a Provider's performance.
8. Damage Claims and Disputes
If your vehicle or property is damaged during service, the claim is primarily between you and the Provider and its insurer. Notify TowGrid promptly and we will provide job records, timestamps, photos, and Provider contact and insurance information on file. TowGrid is not an insurer or claims adjuster.
9. Acceptance
You must affirmatively accept these Customer Terms and the Marketplace Agreement before using the marketplace. Your acceptance is recorded with your user ID, account type, document version, timestamp, method, event, and where applicable the related job ID and IP address.
