Terms of Service

TowGrid is a technology marketplace, communication service, and dispatch platform. We transmit service requests to independent, third-party towing and roadside providers. TowGrid is not a towing company, motor carrier, recovery company, or repair shop, and does not own tow trucks, employ or supervise drivers, direct or control a provider's physical work, or perform roadside services. The customer and the provider are separate, independent parties, and the provider who accepts your job is solely responsible for performing the service safely and lawfully.

The complete legal framework — platform role, independent-party status, provider and customer responsibilities, no-guarantee terms, release and assumption of risk, limitation of liability, indemnification, insurance, disputes, arbitration, governing law, and electronic acceptance — is set out in the Marketplace Agreement, with role-specific terms in the Customer Terms and the Provider Agreement. Those documents are incorporated into these Terms by reference. All limitations, releases, disclaimers, and indemnities apply only to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, and nothing in them excludes or limits liability to the extent such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law.

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use TowGrid. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate contact, vehicle, and location information when requesting service.

All service requests are prepaid at the time of order. Quotes are calculated from the provider's rates, mileage, applicable marketplace fees, taxes, and a card processing fee. Once a truck is ordered and payment is confirmed, the sale is final and the job cannot be cancelled or refunded, except where required by law or where no provider can be matched to your request.

Monthly subscription plans (Roadside Membership and Provider Subscription) are separate from service payments and may be cancelled at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period.

Providers must maintain accurate profiles, valid licensing and insurance where required, current availability, trucks, drivers, coverage areas, and pricing. Providers that do not meet completeness requirements are not eligible for job assignment. Providers are independent contractors and not employees or agents of TowGrid.

TowGrid charges a marketplace fee on each completed job. Provider earnings, less the marketplace fee and applicable adjustments, are paid out automatically through our payment processor after job completion, subject to the provider completing payout onboarding.

You may not misuse the platform, submit fraudulent requests, interfere with dispatch, scrape or reverse engineer the service, harass providers or customers, or use TowGrid for any unlawful purpose. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

The platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, TowGrid is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for the acts or omissions of independent providers. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid TowGrid for the job giving rise to the claim.

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of TowGrid after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
